I spend a lot of time worrying about your future and knowing it won’t be the same as mine has been in my lifetime. You should be able to grow and develop in a clean and safe environment. I take heart in knowing you are both smart enough to be change agents and will do your best to ensure you, your families, and friends have a safe environment and meet your basic needs in more creative, environmentally sound ways.
Dear Madeline, Ava, and Harper,
What I wish most for you girls is that the care you have shown each other would extend to the big wide world around you.

I don’t regret my past ventures, nor do I believe I will regret my future ventures, but I’ve learned that I’ve needed to manifest these experiences into actions of sustainable development and conservation and protection of our environment.

We had a lot in common obviously, and our concern for the planet we live on was one of the many things we bonded over.
Dear Kaydence,
I will keep trying Kaydence, I promise. And I hope we can look back together in 2050 and smile, knowing that our Earth is healthy once again.
Hey Kiddos!
My hope for you is that all our legislative efforts and care for the environment makes a difference so that we can wipe asthma out of our family.
Dear Ryan,
I hope that you start doing things that will help the world.
Dear next generation,
Please don’t wait to see the adverse effects instead adopt that river, stream, lake or ocean to make the world a better place.
Dear Kids,
I know it’s long past time to wake up. You deserve a future in which drought, famine, and war are not all your children ever know; the choices my generation makes now will determine your future.
