Estamos viviendo en un mundo en dónde la naturaleza nos está cobrando con el cambio climático lo que la generación de mis abuelos hizo y nos fue enseñando. Yo crecí en Toluca Estado de México. Recuerdo que de chica el frío era mucho. Hoy en día no lo es. Ahora vivo en la ciudad de México y cuando debe de llover no llueve… cuando hace calor de verdad hace calor. Las especies como insectos han empezado a migrar y me refiero a que arañas venenosas que antes no encontrábamos aquí ahora las hay y hay que tener cuidado con ellas. Estamos acostumbrados a la vida de un ecosistema que está cambiando. Aquí la gente sigue tirando basura en la calle. Nosotros no lo hacemos. Y hay tantos topes que cada vez que uno sale en coches cada frenón contamina más. Por la inseguridad yo uso automóvil y no puedo salir a caminar lo que ocasiona que seamos sedentarios. Ahora en casa reciclamos pet, papel cartón y aparte el compost, el pasto. Como el agua es muy cara, al abrir regaderas ponemos cubetas para no desperdiciarla en lo que se calienta y la regresamos a la cisterna. Pusimos un tinaco con agua de pipa que no está tan tratada para regar jardín y lavar coches y así no utilizar la cisterna de agua de la calle. La lavadora y secadora miden por peso la cantidad de agua y tiempo de la ropa. Trato de no planchar mi ropa si no es necesario y no lavarla.
