I hope that we manage to change the system really soon, while there is still time. So that you are not left with the mess, and trying to fix something that you didn’t cause. I hope we figured out a way to be kind, and caring for others who will suffer more than us. A way to let go of the greed and look at ways we can help others rather than take from them.

Hi, it’s mum here. I know you know that I care about the planet. You see me talking about it, going to protests (and taking you with me!), trying my best to not create waste. But it is 2021, and you are just kids: 6, 9 and 11 years old. I feel so worried about what you will grow up to experience.

I promise that I will continue to keep pushing, and trying my best to bring others along with me. I hope by now you are living in a safe and healthy world, with clean air and water, and that you have felt confident enough about the future that you have had your own kids.
