Oi Luc,

Estou escrevendo enquanto você ainda está nadando na barriga da sua mãe. Você ainda não viu o verde das plantas, o brilho do sol e a beleza da água com seus próprios olhos, mas logo verá, com fé em Deus!

Sou sua avó paterna e desejo demais que o mundo possa ser lindo e maravilhoso pra você; repleto de toda beleza da natureza com a qual o Criador nos presenteou.

Estamos vivendo tempos difíceis onde o consumo é uma coisa louca. Para TER as pessoas (nós) estão destruindo matas, poluindo águas, tornando os solos inférteis e mais e mais coisas ruins.

Acredito que vai melhorar. Tenho fé que a sua geração poderá SER mais e “TER” menos e, com isso, resgatar a todos de uma vida complicada. Por enquanto, vamos fazendo um pouco a cada dia. É desse pouco que o bem é feito. Portanto, não se apavore, não é tudo ruim. Tem muita coisa boa, tem muita gente boa e temos a natureza que se for CUIDADA será regenerada e dará frutos, pássaros, águas, flores e tudo de bom que só ela tem.

Right now you are only a little over 5 weeks old, but you have truly changed my whole world. Your Mom and I always say that we thought we loved before you were born, but now that you have come into the world and we met you, our ability to love just expanded exponentially.

I hope you got your dream job of using your business degree to reduce co2 emissions and promote sustainable energy.

My hope for you is that you can have equal experiences with nature that I was able to have with my dad.
