Dear Tomorrow,

I know that climate change is happening and I think that we must start acting to stop it. We as a community need to firstly become aware of the problems in this world because without knowing the problems we cannot fix them. We need to protect the trees and stop consuming products that use these resources with no consideration for all that they are ruining. We need to make a better effort to find alternative power sources so that we can progress in a way that is actually good for the environment instead of ruining it. We need to protect the lives of animals that don’t have a voice of their own, by saving their habitats and the earth as a whole. We have to realize that the earth is our home, yes, but it is the home to millions of other species, and we have a duty to protect that.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Tomorrow,

Be the person who shows up. Be the person who continues to advocate for change because change is possible – it is possible in the most partisan of politics.

Dear Indigenous Persons with Disabilities,

Dear Kai and Leah,

I want you to feel awestruck like I do. It is important to feel small sometimes, to feel the weight of reality, to recognize the scale of a challenge, to see where you fit and what you are up against. This is the case with climate change.

Dear Darlings,

I commit to you to change one thing a year in our lifestyle to live more environmentally friendly.
