Dear Tomorrow,
I promise to not waste food and eat locally grown food.
Dear Tomorrow,
I promise my next vehicle will be an EV.
Dear grandchild,
There is a place on this planet called the Amazon, and I don’t mean the online shopping site (is that still a thing in your time?).
My Mini & Lou,
Since I first sat down with these words, a pandemic has erupted. Racial violence is reaching a fever pitch and protests are raging across the nation. It feels like the planet is succumbing to entropy, slipping further into chaos. But I write to you from a time of shifting tides.
To My Grandchildren,
It’s my hope that the following will be helpful as you navigate your futures. These are the confessions of a climate activist:
Dear fantastic,
We as the human race are smarter than this struggle at hand and need to rise above large corporate interests and confusion on this topic.
Dear future me,
My hopes have always been to live in a brighter and better generation, where women are respected around the world, human rights are respected and last but not least where animals and mother nature is cared for by us individuals.
Olá Pessoal,
Com essas ideias simples e força de vontade, podemos tornar um mundo, um lugar melhor para se viver, com menos mortes, menos lixo, transforma-lo em um mundo diferente.
Dear Rosie,
But when you are reading this years from now, by the light of a solar powered lamp, know that your dad, mom and millions of others who burned brightly with love for our kids did what we could, when we knew the stakes.
Dear Spike, Loulou and Yoshua,
I’m going to start a campaign to try to convince everybody in the Netherlands to not eat meat one day a week.
dear future people (:
I hope that people are still enjoying the wonders that nature has to offer.
Dear future generations,
It’s never too late to make a difference. Our actions have very real consequences. We can educate ourselves, learn from our mistakes, and take action. We can hold companies like big oil and big plastic accountable for their negative impacts on the environment. We can educate ourselves and others about what causes climate change and what actions we as individuals can take to lower our carbon footprints.
Dear Tomorrow
I promise to encourage myself and others to recycle more.
