Dear Nolan, Patrick, Cullen and Gabriel,

This Mother’s Day I am again thinking of my grandsons future and what I am doing to change the world if only by a small fraction. We have changed out all our lights to be energy saving. We are checking to make sure we have no dripping water. Not adding to landfills by just getting rid of things. We are doing this by checking with others to see if our discarded items can be of use to them, making it known that items are free for the taking.

This is small but I want Nolan, Patrick, Cullen and Gabriel to know we can help change our world and make it better for them.

Also I must add I would not have even begun to start thinking of a better tomorrow if I did not have Gabriel’s mother, Jill Kubit, in our life. Happy Mother’s Day Jill. Thank you for a better tomorrow for all grandchildren.

Love,

Lala

More Messages to the Future

Dear Matthew, Sam, and Sophie,

There is a promise in the Bible: ‘I shall restore the years that the locusts have eaten’ and that points to a promise of complete healing and restoration. But until that comes I intend to do my best to ‘save the planet’ in whatever way I can, and I encourage you to do the same.

Dear next generation,

I hope that by the time you’re reading this, things have changed and people have started to protect the earth

Paz e bem

Vivamos a vida com intensidade, Não nos importando a localidade.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to not waste food and eat locally grown food.

To my daughter and son,

Surrounded by scientists who shared my fears and visions, I often had a hard time to accept that outside our small community climate change received marginal attention.

Dear Jack,

Right now you are only a little over 5 weeks old, but you have truly changed my whole world. Your Mom and I always say that we thought we loved before you were born, but now that you have come into the world and we met you, our ability to love just expanded exponentially.

For a child I am yet to know,

We are fighting for a shared cause, inspired by our strong and unwavering dedication to preserve the beauty and wonder of our natural world for our children, our grandchildren and their children, and for countless generations to come.

Dear Tomorrow,

I will stop using plastic and will plant trees. I will also not waste water and electricity.

dear future children,

As I write this, our world is slowly giving way to climate change.

Dear Tomorrow

Colin

Dear tomorrow,

The blue sky will no longer be grey, and the bleak clouds will be vibrant.

My darling Cassidy,

I know I need to write this to you, and I don’t want to because it makes me so sad. I have been desperately avoiding my feelings about climate change, for many years, but especially and with greater intensity every year since you were born.
