Dear Nahomy,

When we went on the road trip to Arkansas, we saw the farmlands, the forests, the mountains, the lakes, and the caves along the way. This made our experience what it is today, and it was amazing.

Unfortunately, we live in a time where climate change is drastically changing the way we all live our daily lives and the way we view society and its previous generations. We also live in a time where humanity is the reason why earth is being destroyed. I hope that in the future we will still be able to enjoy more road trips together and observe the nature along the way like we have. I hope that we each make it our own personal goal to help conserve the environment and our planet, and to allow future generations to enjoy nature as well.

I promise to make more environmentally conscious decisions with the way I live now and the way that I will live in my future home. I also promise to take advantage of any opportunities that come along the way to help make changes in our government that will make it act against climate change. I promise to help keep us and the environment safe.

More Messages to the Future

Dear future Child or Grandchild,

Climate is undeniably changing but it is not top priority.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to use my reusable water bottle more often

dear future children,

As I write this, our world is slowly giving way to climate change.

Loved One,

That we all have a role to play no matter how small, we all can make a difference.

Dear Tomorrow,

I will opt up to deep green

Dear future generations,

It’s never too late to make a difference. Our actions have very real consequences. We can educate ourselves, learn from our mistakes, and take action. We can hold companies like big oil and big plastic accountable for their negative impacts on the environment. We can educate ourselves and others about what causes climate change and what actions we as individuals can take to lower our carbon footprints.

Dear Tomorrow,

The only way to survive it, even if you don’t feel like you’re winning, is to keep your hands on the rope.

Dear Ezmae,

As I write this, I consider giving up as it sometimes seems that all is lost. But then I think of you.

Dear Generations to Be,

If we could all slow down, look around and connect: with each other, the Earth, the sky, the plants and rocks and animals, then maybe we can all remember to treat everyone and everything with respect and live in love.

Dear Tomorrow,

My climate promise is to reduce electricity at home. I will turn off the TV and lights when I’m not in the room.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I will only use renewable energy.

Dear Corey,

I promise to do all within my power to create a world that’s safe for you and your generation.
