Dear myself in the future!

Around this time it was almost the 1 year anniversary for COVID-19, I also wonder if my dog Finley will still be alive. And I wonder how old I’ll be. On this day, it’s a Monday, and, I’m getting tired of all the masks.

I hope I become very successful and that I like my job. I hope COVID-19 will be gone.

I promise to at least try and make a difference in the world, leave a mark before I go. Or just plainly help people in tough times.

I know some people think it’s a hoax, but it’s very true and it’s mostly our fault. We drive cars that make it worse, we also run factories that produce the greenhouse gasses into the air like cars. I wish it would stop and, hope people will actually try and make a difference.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Tomorrow,

Less meat, more on my feet!

Jeremy M,

My promise is to work to protest carbon emissions.

Dear Future Me: Only open after March 4th, 2050

I don’t regret my past ventures, nor do I believe I will regret my future ventures, but I’ve learned that I’ve needed to manifest these experiences into actions of sustainable development and conservation and protection of our environment.

dear earth,

I promise those who walked the Earth before me and those who will walk the Earth after me that I will not stand by and let nature slip through my fingers.

My dear granddaughter Christy,

My own curiosity and knowing what a caring, aware young woman you are help me override despair.

Dear Future Earth,

I promise to promote the growth of clean energy, like solar… For the sake of my grandchildren.

Meus filhos,

Devemos conservar nosso planeta. Mas, para se fazer isso, temos que fazer isso juntos. Todos os seres humanos devem estar voltados para cuidar bem do lar em que vivemos e do presente que Deus nos deu para viver: a Terra.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to drive less and walk more.

To the Future Generations,

I look at my baby niece today. The newest member of our family, just 3 days old. What will be left for her and her grandchildren?

Dear Jeremy,

We had a lot in common obviously, and our concern for the planet we live on was one of the many things we bonded over.

To Annika, Anders, Stella, Eva, and Mickey,

In writing to you, I realize that I don’t want you to be hard on yourself if you choose to not make this your cause. But it is mine, so I hope that you hold me accountable to some of what I wrote here.

My dearest Paloma Bear,

I want the very best for you and for generations to come. There is only one planet earth. Your mommy and I will make a genuine effort to make an impact to protect it for you.
