Dear Lincoln,

I hope that the world that I have left to you is a healthy and happy world.

I hope that you have learned to cherish, love and respect nature like we have tried to instill in to you since your birth.

I wanted to let you know that in 2019 that there were real struggles with the health of our planet. There were role backs on air quality and water quality standards to the point where we had to be constantly looking at the air quality index to figure how long we could play outside.

There were climate skeptics and outright rejectors of the science.

My hope is that the work that I have done (writing letters to the editor, tabling and presenting at small events and educating and hearing others concerns) has made a difference and made it so that you could live a life where your children can feel safe to play outside.
