Dear Isaac,

I am hoping that you are living in a happier and healthier time and place than we are now.  The world has probably had some major changes since you were 10. People are smart and creative, and hopefully, by working together as just people of the beautiful earth, solutions have been found to curb expected calamities brought on by climate change.

You probably remember how crazy I was about  “going solar”, driving my EV, and picking up every bit of plastic in our path.  Alone it couldn’t change the world very much, but combined with others I am hoping it counted. I always feel we can do better, (you know like  “practice longer”)  so today I am promising to take 2 more actions which hopefully,  by modeling and combined with the actions of others, will help preserve this wonderful earth for you and your children ( I hope at least one has your beautiful smile.)

July 25, 2020:
* I  promise to eat a minimum of three meals a week with no meat in an effort to switch to a more plant-based diet.

*I promise to make my climate action voice heard louder and to help my friends to do the same by advocating physically and verbally for necessary bold legislation on the state and federal levels.

Love you always,
Jima

Dear Annalyse and Greyson,

See people can say they care about climate change, but caring is not action.

Dear future child whatever your name is,

Climate change right now is really bad, I’m writing this during the COP26 conference in Glasgow (which is an hour away) and I’m listening to politicians talking about promises for the future. “If we fail, future generations will never forgive us.” -Boris Johnson

Dear Luna,

I will never give up on you, on humanity, on the future.

Dear humankind of today and tomorrow,

I do wish to contribute as much as I can, maybe even start a ripple effect, where other people will start taking action too and inspire other people too.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to put in a rain catcher tank.

Dear friends,

We need to rethink our consumption habits in order to reduce the impacts on the environment.

My dear daughters,

I will use my voice to help bring awareness about climate change.

Caro Giovanni,

Dobbiamo aiutare nel conservare il bello che c’è nel nostro pianeta.

To the Future Generations,

I look at my baby niece today. The newest member of our family, just 3 days old. What will be left for her and her grandchildren?
