Dear future world,

Currently the world feels like it’s in shambles in terms of climate change and faith in humanity for giving basic human rights to everyone. There has been plenty of natural disasters in 2020 that have only marked what is yet to come in terms of the future if we do not pay attention to climate change. I know a lot of the focus is on regular people to change what is yet to come, but I do think that we need to focus on the billion dollar companies that contribute to majority of global warming, and I hope that in the future the people are changing that. I hope that the government steers away from capitalistic greed and comes to terms with society to better the world we live in because I do not want people to suffer over exploitative practices, although we still have a long way in terms of a progressive society. I hope to see some faith in humanity by having people be kind to one another and not care about who someone is in order to show them respect. I hope to see the world treating each other with the kindness we expect from people, and I hope that we all can come together and create change for the better. I also hope that the virus that started this pandemic is gone in the future, and we learned how to better handle a situation like this.

There has been plenty of natural disasters in 2020 that have only marked what is yet to come in terms of the future if we do not pay attention to climate change. I hope that we see the world being more eco-friendly to save our planet!! I also hope to see the world treating each other with the kindness we expect from people, and I hope that we all can come together and create change for the better.

With love and a great hope for the future, a future that will be healthy and sustainable for you, my precious grandchildren.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to stop using a plastic straw.

Dear Lucie,

Lucie, I love you more than you could ever know and I hope that my promises help contribute to a better world for you and inspire you to take action as well as you grow into the amazing adult I know you will be.

Our Promise

I will turn my gas transmission into an electric car!

Dear Jack,

Right now you are only a little over 5 weeks old, but you have truly changed my whole world. Your Mom and I always say that we thought we loved before you were born, but now that you have come into the world and we met you, our ability to love just expanded exponentially.

Dear 2050,

Our planet is crazy. I pledge to be an innovator to make sustainable living real.

To my Maria and her children,

I have to tell you something: it is so hard to keep our life “green” for now, but we still keep trying.

Dear Grandchildren,

So here we are. In 2022 millions of people are suffering from the climate catastrophes, killing pollution and pandemic, not mentioning about poverty, gender and social injustice, racism, wars and dictatorships that can go on as long as bad people in power are allowed to grab our natural resources.

Dear Tomorrow,

The transformation of human consciousness
