Dear Future Self,

It is 2020 Covid19 has impacted everyone and everything including the environment. There is more plastic going into landfills and my community needs to start a change. The small town of Warrenton is slow in catching up with current events and what is going on in the world. Most people here are very stuck in their ways but in order to save the environment and the world we live in people need to start making a change. As I grow to continue to grow into an adult with a life of my own I promise to integrate habits that will protect this world for future people like you and anyone important to you. I am currently trying to use less water and more reusable products instead of single-use. I’ve learned a lot about how people have changed the way the planet works I hope by 2050 that people will have found ways to save the planet and integrated it into our day to day life. I hope especially my home town learned to grow with the rest of the world. I think it is important that when areas advance in environmentally safe tech they bring along the smaller areas because small towns affect the environment as well.
