Dear Future Self,

I am writing this letter in hopes that when you read it, you can remember the person you were, you look back and smile, because every decision you made until now has made who you are, so be proud…

Tell me how are mom and dad, call them if you are lucky enough to have them around, how are your beloved sisters, is Ely still changing the world around her, is your beloved Grace still been unique and extraordinary.

I ask you if you continue thinking about climate change, take time and look around you, are you able to see nature? Are people aware of the crisis that is climate change? Are we doing something about it? Have you have done your part?Ā  Remember that even a little action can make a big impact. I hope that you are still able to see the beauty of this planet, if you do, please make others be conscious about this issue.Ā

I hope you are happy and I hope you are proud of who you are and how I got us here today, please take time to go outside and enjoy the sun, listen to the birds and enjoy nature. Make sure that you stay positive about the future and take action on the climate change issue.Ā Ā

I love you, always take care of yourself.

GF

Dear Future Me: Only open after March 4th, 2050

I don’t regret my past ventures, nor do I believe I will regret my future ventures, but I’ve learned that I’ve needed to manifest these experiences into actions of sustainable development and conservation and protection of our environment.

Dear Gabriel,

ā€œUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It’s not.ā€ – The Lorax

Dear Ya’Ash,

There are many paths to Truth, but regardless of your faith or ideology, one truth is above all else: Life must continue.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to ride more and drive less.

To My Future Child(ren),

The fact that you are reading this means that you would know the answer to a question that has kept me up at night more often than I would like to admit: Did I make you proud?

Dear Tomorrow,

We only have 11 years left until the damage done by climate change is irreversible.

To my Dad,

I hope on this Father’s Day, my 24th birthday, and the rest of days, we remember that the most basic part of life is living happy with the ones we love. Acting every day against climate change will allow us to keep that simple piece of humanity.

Dear Erica and Matthew,

I want you to be able to bring your kids to Tahoe and experience the same clarity that you had as a child.

To my great-great grandchildren,

I don’t know your name
or even if you’re alive,
but I’m doing all I can
to make sure you survive.

I’m your great- great grandmother
who lived a century ago
in a world far different
from the one you must know.

Dear Gorasia descendants,

I will do all that I can, and hope my fellow inhabitants join my pursuit, to nurture this planet.

To my Kids,

I wish you all the best and always make sure that you can be proud of yourself and don’t need status-symbols for feeling nice.

Dear Tomorrow

I will become the change I wish to see in the world.
