Dear Future Generations,

So we messed up the World. The air isn’t at its best and the ozone layer is pretty much gone. The car emissions keep going up and we keep deforestation forests. This was our and past generations fault. We are now leaving it on you like the lazy generation we are. A lot of what our generation did was joke about this horrible situation and make entertaining videos. So go and check those out if you want to get away from it all. Now for me, i don´t care whether you save the world or not. I know it sounds awful but one of the worse problems is overpopulation, so i say one of you have the will to take out half the population or more. Heck, maybe even three quarters. Again I know I’m sounding like Thanos but this would help car emissions, food shortage, supply shortage and logically would make the world livable again. Sorry that we left you in a world where one of  the options that help would be to eliminate 1/2 to 3/4 or the population, but your generation would actually be able to live and know nothing but happiness. Thank you, and I´m sorry.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to ask five of my friends to plant trees.

Dear Nieces and Nephews,

I tried.

Dear Tomorrow

I will teach my children about a greener earth.

Dear future generations,

It’s never too late to make a difference. Our actions have very real consequences. We can educate ourselves, learn from our mistakes, and take action. We can hold companies like big oil and big plastic accountable for their negative impacts on the environment. We can educate ourselves and others about what causes climate change and what actions we as individuals can take to lower our carbon footprints.

Dear Tomorrow,

It wasn’t about Him, it was about Us. And this isn’t about Me, it’s about You. And it won’t be about You, it will be about Them.

We will look back on our time here and ask, “What did I do?”

If we truly live our present moment, maybe you’ll have a future.

Dearest Gray,

When I asked you why the purple Violet called to you, you told me it was “magic”. I hope that you can still find the magic of life. I hope, despite everything, it is still in abundance.

To earth & its inhabitants,

Its been heavy on my shoulders since I found out about the state of climate woes as a child.

Dear Tomorrow,

I feel optimistic for you, tomorrow. I can feel a shift happening already.

dear earth,

I promise those who walked the Earth before me and those who will walk the Earth after me that I will not stand by and let nature slip through my fingers.

dear tomorrow,

I hope that the state of the environment becomes a part of everyday discourse.

To my daughter,

The climate is quite dynamic these days. Dhaka has dust and warm in this spring.
