Dear future generations,

I am sorry for all the problems we have caused and I hope you have fixed all the problems we have caused like climate change and hope there are flying cars in the future any ways lets get back to the point what will you do to help.and i am sorry if polar bears have gone extinct by then and maybe everyone will be using electronic cars and i hope the ice doesn’t melt because the sea will rise and flood us all anyways i just hope I don’t die in the future.

we should recycle and reuse and make electricity by wind power and use electric cars and put things into the right bins and stop throwing plastic into the ocean.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Future Family,

As I’m sitting here trying to think of the best words to say to you all, I am thinking of one major thing: that I can only hope that you all get to experience the incredible beauty created by our planet.

Dear Eleanor,

It seems silly to saddle yourself with guilt for something that hasn’t happened yet. I don’t want to do that. As of today, I don’t really feel guilty. I guess I just want to make sure I keep doing more, so that when you read this, and ask what I’ve done since then, I can still feel good about my efforts.

My grandchildren,

I promise to do my very best to educate your parents as best I can.

Dear Future Generations,

Dear Future Generations,

Dear Future Self,

It was 2020, the year I realized that life is fragile—not just mine, but the entire planet—through immense consumption, pollution, greediness, ignorance, false bliss. This wasn’t the way I wanted to live my life, so I promise to actively make the change.

My Dear Grandchildren,

In writing this letter to you, I am searching for ways to make my connection and commitment to you more present in my current experience

Dear Jeremy,

We had a lot in common obviously, and our concern for the planet we live on was one of the many things we bonded over.

Dear Tanuj,

The time has come to question ourselves as citizens about our own actions and the legacy we are leaving behind.

To the future,

Today, I will hope and envision the future I wish to achieve. Then tomorrow, I will have tough conversations, I will call my local representatives, I will continue to fight for this world.

Dear future Child or Grandchild,

Climate is undeniably changing but it is not top priority.

Dear Tomorrow,

I’m not allowed to talk about climate change around family; as my mom warned me, “climate change is not something that people think about in Mississippi.” But I’m worried for my family’s future.

Dear Owen and Vivian,

Here’s the biggest secret: I KNOW it will have. We may not realize how, but we have changed the world.
