You deserve clean water, you deserve an abundance of food, you deserve clean air. You deserve to see the world in its natural and unharmed beauty.

Right now as I write this our oceans are filling with plastic, the air is contaminated from fumes we pump into the atmosphere, animals are dying because we deem ourselves more important. The Earth’s climate is becoming so altered we don’t know what to do next.

I want you to know that I never wanted this for you. Our planet deserves to be treated with delicacy and respect, you deserve to understand the value of caring for the environment and the importance of using these tools to fight for environmental justice.

As I write this, our world is slowly giving way to climate change, but I promise I’m going to give you air to breathe, oceans to swim, mountains to climb and a planet to explore. I am going to do everything I can to raise you in a world unharmed by our disastrous actions. I promise to do everything I can to reverse the strain we have put on the planet so that you will have a world to call your own.
