Dear future american,

It is 11:26 23/9/18

I’m still trying to buy lottery to leave this country

In september, a storm called mangkut attacked south east asian coasts.

Not many people died however, storms are more present than ever and still pose serious threat to coastline countries like Vietnam.

Every day I travel on the street, there are just so many other vehicles, exhausting lots of CO2.

My eyes are always misty and quite burnt because of the polluted air. I wish if my schedule in university was more wisely arranged, I wouldn’t have to travel much in this atmosphere. The government is corrupt as ever, gas is too expensive, people are not nice.

I hope I win billions of VND to get out of here and come live in the usa

I think a war will explode in usa, as it will have the most energy reserve in 2050. In 2003, iran was attacked for the same reason. Many people in asia burn incense and it’s so detrimental for the world. I hope they get rid of their stupid culture. Many asians love to ride cars when the streets are too crowded.

Goodluck myself.

God bless america.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Jack,

Right now you are only a little over 5 weeks old, but you have truly changed my whole world. Your Mom and I always say that we thought we loved before you were born, but now that you have come into the world and we met you, our ability to love just expanded exponentially.

For those who come after us,

This is for the countless children I already see suffering the impact of climate change around the world, and the generations to follow.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to ride more and drive less.

Salutations to whoever may be reading this,

I promise to do my part. I promise to be the change I want to see in the world, and I hope that you, reader, will do the same.

Dear Granddaughter Rosalia,

This is my heritage for you my beautiful cacheticos de melon.

Dear Future Self,

I hope you got your dream job of using your business degree to reduce co2 emissions and promote sustainable energy.

Rachel and Noelle,

I hope in a small way this helps your world.

Dear Lucy,

The clock ticks, time passes, and the earth and all of its inhabitants move closer to dangerous boundaries we can dimly discern but cannot see clearly.

Loved One,

That we all have a role to play no matter how small, we all can make a difference.

Dear Sander,

I pray that you are having a happy life and that you have contributed each year of your life into helping to make our planet healthy, cleaner, thriving and greener- a better place for all people and animals to live.

Dear Amara and Uma,

Maybe you heard about bats? Bats, the carriers of this disease that spread among us like wild fire. I love bats. When I was your age today, sitting in the evening on the back terrace of your grandparent’s home in Ibiza, hundreds of bats would play, dance and sing among the trees.

to my dearest children,

Our future is being made now, and I promise to do everything in my power to make yours safe.
