Dear daughter,

Today is a lovely sunny day. In 2050, I hope that you have fewer sunny days than we are having at the moment. Don’t look back on your life and think to yourself that you could have done something to change what’s happening. I hope you are breathing fresh, clean air and not inhaling awful fumes. Make sure you are surrounded by greenery and love. I hate to think about what it would be like in 2050. But if you read this message, I hope you will make a change. Don’t let our beautiful world flood, burn, or disappear due to all the horrible climate change. Think about all the animals and life that are endangered. We all need to make a difference.

More Messages to the Future

Dear kids of America,

Please eliminate plastic everything

Dear future self,

I am writing this to keep myself accountable and push myself towards taking action towards a sustainable future. I hope children of the future can still appreciate the wonders that nature and all its beings have to offer, appreciate the beauty in the world around us.

Dear Tomorrow,

I’m not allowed to talk about climate change around family; as my mom warned me, “climate change is not something that people think about in Mississippi.” But I’m worried for my family’s future.

Dear Future Generations,

I promise to make as many changes to my life as possible to make yours as great as mine.

Dear fantastic,

We as the human race are smarter than this struggle at hand and need to rise above large corporate interests and confusion on this topic.

Querido amanhã,

Sempre é bom ajudar a natureza.

Dear little one,

In the coming months, we plan to complete a full assessment of our environmental impact online. We hope to discover our biggest areas of resource consumption, learn what we can do better, and create an action plan to improve over the next year.

To my dear son Zac,

I promise to raise you as a loving-nature human.

Dear Alba:

There is still a lot of beauty and I will do what I can to keep it from slipping away.

Dear Tomorrow

I promise to educate others TODAY.

Dear Kaydence,

I will keep trying Kaydence, I promise. And I hope we can look back together in 2050 and smile, knowing that our Earth is healthy once again.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to only use metal straws and reusable cups.
