Dear anyone enduring environmental hardships,

My situation is not critical like some of yours are. I am not concerned about clean water, I do not expect to be displaced from my home/community, and I do not have a family to protect from the growing concerns of scarcity. Lives lived in a state of fear due to climatic pressures is unwarranted. No individual caused this and there is no easy way to fix it.

My situation may end up critical depending on how we proceed. And what I do have is a strong will, I have passion, and I have the ambition to fight for our present and future environmental issues. The issues that do and do not affect me directly. I believe that we are all connected and care deeply and feel strongly about the need to support these connections.

If we see the earth as a system, we are all connected and dependent on each other to survive. The safety of people and their livelihoods in South America and China and Africa is directly related to the safety of me and the rest of the people in the US.

We are all impacted by the growing concern of climate change and I believe that it has the potential to be a uniting factor for self-preservation and global unity rather than a force of destruction and war.

The problem is solvable, not easy, not simple, but solvable through global and individual unity and action. I and so many others are here to see this through.
