You’re not even born and already I owe you an apology. There are species of life and being that I took for granted, and they may never pass to you or your time. I’m sorry I wasn’t strong enough. I’m sorry I was complacent, complicit, selfish. I’m guilty of all the things that got us here, that robbed you of so much. I guess I’m apologizing to the Earth too.

You will make mistakes too. It may not be okay, but it happens. You can’t fix this on your own. Unless you’ve become the actual messiah. If so, I mean, good shit. Nicely done.
