Είναι Απρίλιος του έτους 2017.. Εσύ που διαβάζεις αυτό το γράμμα εύχομαι ο κόσμος που μεγαλώνεις να αλλάζει προς το καλύτερο και να έχουν ήδη πραγματοποιηθεί σημαντικές αλλαγές για τη βελτιστοποίηση της κατάστασης. Η κλιματική αλλαγή είναι ένα ζήτημα που μας απασχολεί ιδιαιτέρως αυτές τις μέρες και πολλοί προσπαθούμε για το καλύτερο δυνατό. Προσπαθώ και γω προσωπίκα με την οποιαδήποτε προσπάθεια να συμβάλω στην προσπάθεια αυτή. Σπουδάζω αυτή τη στιγμή Environmental Engineering και ευελπιστώ στο μέλλον οι γνώσεις που θα αποκομίσω να με βοηθήσουν ώστε να βάλω και γω ένα λιθαράκι στην προστασία του περιβάλλοντος. Αυτό που πραγματικά εύχομαι είναι ο κόσμος να γίνει καλύτερος για έσας.. για να μεγαλώσετε σωστά και να μπορείτε να απολαμβάνετε τα αγαθά της φύσης όπως και η δική μου γενία. Σας αγαπώ..

You should’ve reduced your carbon footprint, should be using some source of renewable energy and be a vegetarian by now.

Dear future generations,

It’s never too late to make a difference. Our actions have very real consequences. We can educate ourselves, learn from our mistakes, and take action. We can hold companies like big oil and big plastic accountable for their negative impacts on the environment. We can educate ourselves and others about what causes climate change and what actions we as individuals can take to lower our carbon footprints.

I will recycle stuff I found.

Dear Alyssa,

I pray that more and more fathers will realize that to love their children well, they have to love and respect the ecological systems around them too.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to clean the earth.

My hope for you is that you can have equal experiences with nature that I was able to have with my dad.

Since my two daughters emerged into this world, all of my tomorrows have become more dear.

If we don’t stop cutting down trees for agriculture and to build houses then the future generations will not think about trees when they hear the word Earth.
